At our school we have to do a lot of individual work, especially during the time between the semesters. Each person is assigned a project he or she has to work on for two or three weeks. It usually includes gathering information, interviewing some people or writing an article. You can also include some photos. Last year, we were given tasks by our Geography teacher. I was assigned a project on India. I got a good mark for it but didnt win. This year our teachers wanted us to discover our entrepreneurial spirits. I had to write a project on Web Design West Midlands. Other students had to concentrate on other business branches like food or clothes, but mine was interesting too. My first step was to look for prestigious web design companies in my area. Then I described the businesses in detail and interviewed some of the best designers. I asked them what they liked about their jobs and what their way to success was. I made some interesting photos during a normal business day; just some snapshots of the people in the office. And you know what? My Web Design West Midlands project won! I was given a prize for that: a language course. I wouldnt make a good web designer, but perhaps I will at least learn to speak French during the summer.
